We assist people at various stages of life — individuals, couple and families in transition, professionals seeking to expand skills, students making post-secondary plans, university graduates exploring career options, job seekers in a changing and challenging economy, career changers seeking a fresh start, new retirees, and anyone at a pivotal point in their lives or careers.
Coaching is in increasing demand. We live in a fast-paced world with a growing array of opportunities at our fingertips. Yet, we often feel overwhelmed by pressures of a down economy and downsized workforces, changing technology and constant communication. In fact, at times, the more communication we receive the lonelier and isolated we become. A coach can help individuals sort through the clutter and discover personal meaning. Coaching is at once an interactive partnership and an iterative process that draws upon concepts from sports, business, spirituality, psychology and organizational development. It is not therapy, it is not counselling, or a best buddy — and it is definitely not a passive endeavor: Individuals must be motivated to explore where they are and where they want to be.
Coaching works because of three key components: the Skills of the coach, the structured process, and the Synergy between coach and client. Our one-on-one coaching sessions begin with a face-to-face meeting to identify current challenges and desired outcomes and to agree upon a schedule for regular contact either in person or over the phone. Our coaches are trained and certified by the Center of Right Relationships in the USA http://www.crrglobal.com/ as Oragnization and Relationship Systems Coaches “ORSCC” and accredited by the International Coach Federation http://coachfederation.org/ Throughout the coaching process clients formulate and implement a plan of action to build the important skills and abilities for leading as well as for living.
